Het aantal licenties dat nodig is hangt af van het aantal gebruikers waarvoor regels worden aangemaakt in Policy Patrol. Voor elke server waarop Policy Patrol wordt geïnstalleerd moet een licentie worden aangeschaft.

Policy Patrol Email 7 is verkrijgbaar in de volgende versies: Policy Patrol Disclaimers (disclaimers & handtekeningen), Policy Patrol Spam Filter (anti spam) en Policy Patrol Mail Server Tools (inhoudscontrole, monitoring, rapportage en optionele anti-virus). Alle drie versies zijn opgenomen in de Policy Patrol Mail Security bundel.

De prijs voor verlenging van het onderhoud voor Policy Patrol SBS Bundle, inclusief onderhoud en Kaspersky Anti-Virus updates bedraagt € 150 per jaar.

Exter server licentie

Een extra server licentie moet worden aangeschaft voor elke extra Policy Patrol installatie inclusief cluster, back-en front-end servers. De aangeschafte licentie voor gebruikers moet het totale aantal gebruikers dekken voor alle Policy Patrol installaties. De extra server licentie is niet gebaseerd op gebruikers en geen serienummer zal worden verstrekt. De extra server licentie staat u toe uw bestaande serienummer te gebruiken op een extra machine.

Algemene voorwaarden

Bovenvermelde prijzen zijn per Policy Patrol installatie en zijn gebaseerd op het aantal gebruikers waar regels voor worden angemaakt. Indien er meerdere installaties van Policy Patrol nodig zijn (bijvoorbeeld voor clustered nodes, front end servers of back up servers) moet er voor voor elke server een extra server licentie worden angeschaft.

Alle producten bevatten een garantie periode van 30 dagen waarin de gebruiker gratis technische ondersteuning en eventuele product updates ontvangt. Na deze periode is een onderhoudscontract vereist om technische ondersteuning en product updates te ontvangen.

SBS licentie

Een SBS licentie kan alleen worden geinstalleerd op een Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2000/2003/2008 en ondersteunt maximaal 75 gebruikers.

Onderhouds

Alle producten bevatten een garantie periode van 30 dagen waarin de gebruiker gratis technische ondersteuning en eventuele product updates ontvangt. Een complete beschrijving van onze onderhouds voorwaarden kan worden gevonden op: http://www.redearthsoftware.com/maintenance.htm.

Meerdere servers

Een licentie is vereist voor iedere Policy Patrol installatie (behalve remote management). Het aantal Policy Patrol installaties is afhankelijk van factoren zoals het filteren van interne of externe email en het aantal mail server dat gebruikt wordt om email te versturen en ontavngen. Policy Patrol telt ieder uniek SMTP primair email adres als één gelicentieerde gebruiker. Dit betekent dat e-mail distributielijsten of groepen zoals sales@yourcompany.com ook worden geteld als één gebruiker. Maar als u niet wilt dat Policy Patrol regels toepast op uw distributielijsten, kunt u deze mailboxen verwijderen uit de lijst van gebruikers in Policy Patrol. Een alias voor een mailbox telt niet als een gebruiker.
